Yes, my favorite thing about it are the night skies. I can look up at the stars until my head falls off. I also like the smell of the fresh air in the country and the talking pines as the wind whistles with them. It's not my cabin but it is my space in time when I am there, I appreciate it so much and am very thankful for those times.

yes, but it wasn't as authentic as i had originally imagined. I was expecting a dusty wooden floor that creaked, and no plumbing. A place in the middle of nowhere. This cabin had a plasma screened television with satellite and wireless internet. It even had a dishwasher... I don't even have a dishwasher in my apartment. My own grubby little hands are my dishwasher.

not for along time. my wifes grandparents that lived in maine had a cabin in the woods by a lake. we went there once when my oldest girl was a baby,she is now 32

Yes, it was a cabin on a lake in Kentucky. Great fun, and very peaceful.
