I completely agree. Class is a mindset, not a fat wallet. I define class as having grace and dignity, and being able to treat people with respect. With sincerity, I might add, not the 'kiss kiss, darling' rubbish you might see on Absolutely Fabulous, or something. In my experience, poor or middle class people have a lot more class than the rich. We know what it is to go through hardship and therefore can respect others in the same position. Though far be it from me to suggest all rich people lack class. It's an individual thing.

Absolutely true! An indication of class is treating everyone well regardless of what they can do for you. Many wealthy people are lacking this trait!

it doesn't prepare a person to get along with the rest of the country that is average income or less. charm school,for example teaches manners in society. they're all believe an income is your everything.
