You don't because once play doh is dry, then it no longer has a life. I love play doh though it has been a long time since I used that stuff. I remember how I'd make dummies, I'd make horses, I even made air planes and get this, I remember making a real life like monster, but that took a lot of cans of that stuff, and the reason I no longer use play doh is because once that happened to me, you know, like once my play doe all dried up, and I tried to bring it back to life, but I found, no can do, what I did was I used lot of vitamins and water in high hopes that my dear old sweet play doh would come back to life. I had lots and lots of can of that stuff, so, go and buy some new cans of that stuff and remember to close the lid when you put play doh back in the can or cans, this is how you keep it from getting dry.

use some water. or you can make some new play dough. use this recipe:

1 cup flour
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup salt
food coloring

mix all ingredients, adding food coloring last. stir over medium heat until smooth. remove from pan and knead until blended smooth. place in plastic bag or airtight container when cooled. will last for a long time. or instead of food coloring, you can use kool aid (just 1 package)
