i'am getting blood took for these following
FBC- full blood count
ESR- ?????
Glandular fever
U & E
Liver profile
Fasting glucose
Thyroid function
Menopause screen
Am not too sure were would it come under any of these? thnx.x.

Sorry iam not pregnant or dont know if i'am yet... was just wandering if the doctor was testing me for it anyway ...

None of those are testing for pregnancy. They are pretty standard tests that cover many common ailments.
There are literally thousands of blood tests that a doctor could request. They don't test every woman who comes through the door for pregnancy.

An HCG, or Beta HCG test measures the exact amount of HCG hormone in your blood. It can tell you how far along you are. Doctors can also use a blood sample to just get a positive or negative result. This would be ordered as just a pregnancy test.

hCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin which is a peptide hormone produced in pregnancy, that is made by the embryo soon after conception and later by the syncytiotrophoblast (part of the placenta).

HCG- that is when they detect pregnancy levels how far along you are by levels.
