I wish you the best for I have the same problem. I know everyone will give you advice to get out & join in. If you're like me, though, you don't really have that option. Like here in my town, there's not really anything to just up & go out to do unless you ALREADY have friends to do it with. I mean, really, you're not gonna want to go run around by herself looking to introduce herself to everyone hoping someone will take the bait & be her friend. I attend college. I still have a hard time. Hardly anyone will talk to you. I have put myself out there & talked to others & still it seems most people in my classes already know someone in that class & they stick to that person & it doesn't seem they want to actually get to know someone new. I'm not placing blame on everyone else, but it seems like it's more of a problem that society as a whole isn't willing to take the time to get to know people. It's tough & I wish you the best. Put yourself out there but be careful too or you'll get hurt~

I used to be in just your same pickle for years and years. How did I get out of it? You are going to have to start participating in activities (I joined several) and talk often, not just when someone talks to you. You also can't be afraid to walk up to new people and introduce yourself. Everyone else will say the same thing, but trust me: IT WORKS. It takes some courage but its all the more rewarding when you make lots of friends. Good luck :)

you can find a friend by deciding to play and meet new people start hanging around them the 3 - 5 day ask if they want to be your friend easy

an old adage...you have to be a friend to have a friend...that is the first thing
then don't be afraid to talk to people...say hello, start a conversation. There are lots of people out there who are looking for a friend too.
get out and start talking to others!

a good place to start is myspace, if your not into staying at home, how about going to the mall or a club and meeting new people?
