I would just say your body is readying itself for delivery...I was 100% effaced and dialated to a 1 with my first son at 35 weeks and gave birth on the exact day I turned 38 weeks...so I would say your getting ready to deliver soon....38 weeks is considered full term

The term 50% thinned out means that the thickness of your cervix is 50% gone. Your cervix has to be 100% thinned out for labor. This does not mean, however, that labor is right around the corner. Your cervix can thin out weeks before delivery and you can dilate weeks before delivery. Hang in there, you are almost done.

50% thin is how thin your cervix is. It starts off fat and high and as you dialate your cervix can thin out. Not a bad thing, just means that your body is preparing for labor and delivery. I wouldn't expect it too soon though. This is something you should ask your doctor because I'm sure that they could provide you with a visual so you know what it looks like and what's happening with your body!

it does not mean anything, except that your body is preparing for birth which could be weeks off yet.
