Does a Xbox 360 core system come with a hard drive or is that extra??

I have just got a xbox 360 core system and wondered to i need to buy the harddrive to go with it or does that come included, its in the green box and not the white of that helps?? Sorry

No, it's extra. You'll need one if you want to download stuff, and if you play a lot and have loads of saves. If you're going to wait though, hang around til Microsoft release a bigger one. You can only get a 20gb just now and that's way too small.

if you want an xbox 360 that comes with a hard drive then buy the premium system. because it is a better deal because you also get a headset and a wireless controller for only 100 dollars more. but if you buy a core and u want a harddrive then you will need to buy a 100 dollar hard drive.

anyway you will need to get a hardrive. The white box is the one with the hard drive included.

no infact there going to take the core off the line soon. in the end its better to get the real 360 becuse you will pay more with only the core system. a harddrive is another $100 alone.....

The green box doesnt come with the 20 gb hard drive. Youd have to purchase one if you want to save games or play the old xbox games. They cost about 100 bucks and you can find them at Walmart.

You havent got the hard drive with it im afraid - its about £69.99 extra, but to be fair they are available all over - I have even seen ASDA selling them. You do really need one as the memory cards for the 360 are a bit poor to be honest. 20GB should be enough dependant on how many games you play during a period of time (for example if your frequently changing games and saving numerous ones.)

You need to buy it separate. they usually cost £69.99 but you only need it for downloading demo's and watching dvd's or playing old xbox games!!
