would it take to carry my friend across a distance of 10 feet if she weighs 114 pounds?

Based on the size of your friend and the strength of a fire ant it would only take one after it bites her she will run 10 FT no problem

It would take a whole bunch to carry your friend! I don't even know how that would be possible without her smashing them!
