adoptive stories? Does any REALLY care? And why the heck doesn't she adopt here in the US...there are plenty of ethnic babies that need loving (rich) families. Why does the US government and now our celebreties find it necessary and "good" to help every other poor 3rd world nation before starting here at home?
America is fastly becoming a 3rd world nation with our increasing social gap. I think it's time for a wake up call America....when Canada pratically closes it's boarders to us is when we should seriously start looking at society, education and financial status/standings with the rest of world.

I am, for one, and am totally sick of hearing about stars adopting out of the U.S. We have so many kids that are in Child Protective Services and need foster homes, and friends of mine are qualified to adopt, but the system sucks. But if you're rich, just go to another country for PR purposes.

I'm tired of hearing about her too. I guess journalism is becoming like hip hop and rock (less important content, high sale volumes). At least, we're done with Paris, Nicole, and Anna Nicole(r.i.p.) for the time being.

For so long as I have too many groceries in my fridge to close the door, too many channels to watch on tv, and too many ways to spell out my guaranteed freedom, I will never consider America a third world nation. Jolie is doing what she wants to. That is why we live in America. To do what we darn well please within reason and so long as it doesn't directly violate someone else's civil rights. yes, you're right...she's getting a lot of publicity lately, and in my mind, she's getting more pub than she wants or likes...
but at least she's doing something more socially edifying than airheads like paris hilton and brittany spears, who offer nothing socially redeeming
