it wasn;t from the pill...i drank too much water & threw up...i didn't see if the pill got thrown up or not..do i just use a back up method till my next period?

I did the same thing after I took my first pill....but I was at soccer practice and had to run like 3 miles! I think after 2 hours you body should have taken the pill all in by then. Some pills do make you sick at first. I would say wait awhile to see if you body will get use to it. If you keep getting sick then go to your doctor. Also, I've found that if you take it after or right before you eat it helps and try taking it later in the day instead of in the morning! Well good luck and I hope you feel better!

Stop taking birth control pill. The reason you threw up is because your body is trying to get rid of the toxins your putting in it. All birth control contains is a bunch of chemicals including HORSE URINE. It's so bad for you. Do a search on "danger of birth control pills" They can also increase your risk of breast cancer.

Did you bring the pill back up? If it was the pill that made you sick in the first place I'd suggest changing it, if not to be safe you may want to either use a 2nd form of protection or abstain just to be sure.

My doctor has said that if you throw up any medication within 30 minutes of taking it, take a second dose. Longer than 30 minutes your body has assimilated it and you don't need to do anything.
