People who have no idea of the correct way to drive an automobile on a good day insist on getting in a car when it is pouring down rain and drive 20 mph faster than they usually drive and somehow manage not only to have a wreck, but usually hurt somebody else also?...I am a cop and when it rains,I work,on average,4-6 accidents in a 12 hr shift, and it usually is some old, blind, deaf,or a combination of the 3 person who has no clue how to drive properly trying to "get to the store" or "going to my friends house"...in a blinding thunderstorm?anybody?

well sir they should have taught you in the academy that people are mostly idiots and more so when behind the wheel , thank you for working such long shifts and keeping us safe , the R.C.M.P. also get to deal with the idiots that blast through blizzards , I've seen many upside down SUV's this winter.

There are the same number of stupid people on the road every day it's just that when the roads are wet and their cars don't perform like they normally do they have wrecks. So we either need to stop the rain or stop stupid people from driving. Good luck with either.

Who the heck knows... but they are VERY annoying and I can only imagine the aggravation they are to you... People start thinking they are invincible and that is when things get dangerous... I have a couple friends that are cops and they get frustrated at that type of behavior as well...

Just know that there are some of us that appreciate what you do every day!

It's natural selection at work, mate. The idiots have to get weeded out somehow.
