Hey Sonya, don't you think it is better that they do. Imagine having to lug all the books necessary for all your day's classes, from classroom to classroom! That certainly would cause you back problems and would make it almost impossible to transit through the halls.

Yes, carrying all their books all day long (between classes) could hurt a kid's back, not to mention be very draining. Lockers are a good thing.

it was so that you did not have to carry all the books to all of your classes cause in high school and middle school your classes are all over the place and the books carrying can give you back problems,,, and now they are finding out that the way that kids are using their backpacks are causing just as many back problems
