in pokemon red version how do you catch articouno?

do you mean "catch" him or are you trouble finding him?

well, to catch him, dont waste a masterball
(i can tell you the cheat to get infinity masterballs if you dont alraedy know it)

to catch articuno just get strong pokemon but not strong enough to make it pass out. get lots of ultra balls.

if you dont already know the cheat just ask me about it.

Standard Way:

Reduce its health to 1 hp or close to it, make its status change (paralysis, sleep, or freeze) and use an Ultra Ball.

Cheating Way:

Place your Masterball to the 6th spot in your inventory. Go to the Safari Zone and go to the area where you get the surf HM. Then Fly to veridian city and talk to the old guy that needs coffee (guarding the road out of veridian). Then fly to Cinnabar and surf up and down on the Right side of the Island. Eventually, you'll see a pokemon that looks like a random mess. beat it (it's not very hard), and the item in your 6th spot will be multiplied over a hundred times. You'll have random symbols in place of numbers. Then go back to the caves and catch Articuno with the Master Ball.

Masterball and if you want here's a cheat if you want to clone any pokemon especially rare ones connect a link cable and transfer to a friends game but before your pokemon reaches he's one pull out the link cable.And here's another one put any item in 6th place in your inventory(including pokeballs,masterballs,and rare candys and moves like icebeam etc.and fly to cinnabar island(or that fire island can't remember the name) and surf up and down on the black line that seperates you from the land and sea(or by the sea cave)until you fight a missingo and then the item in 6th place you should have 99 of them and there is also a cheat to get mew in red and blue but can't remember(haven't played the game in years)

dont use your master ball get alot of ultra balls like 10-20 its found in the islands when u get out of the 7badge city

use ice attacks to freeze it even though it's not very effective

but it means that you'll be able to do a lot of freezing attacks to capture it with a ultra ball
