What about a spider who keeps telling lies and everytime he does he adds to his web, but then one day he needs to go back to the middle to remember what started all the lies and he gets stuck?
And the moral could be that; No lies are good lies.

We'll it would be best to have it unique, if it is cliche, then it won't really stand out. I think bitterness or holding a grudge can make the worst of best friends.... Or sometimes prejedice between bugs, and when an anteater comes, they learn that they are in it together...
