You have to connect the ipod to the computer and open itunes. You should see the screen for the ipod settings. Make sure "only update checked songs" is selected. Go to the "music" section in itunes and click on the box next to the songs you want to keep on your ipod. Sync it and it will erase those that are not checked from your ipod.

Another option is to create a playlist and only sync that one. Under the "music" tab, there is an option to only sync certain playlists.

On itunes there are all the titles of your songs and on the left side of the song there is a tick. If you click the ticks the music will select itself off the ipod so when you connect ur ipod to the computer the songs that you selected will go away from your ipod but still stay on your itunes.
Good luck!

Just drag the song to the trash or right click on it and say "delete". Remember that if you don't have the song on your computer, and you delete it, you can't put it back on your iPod. You can't transfer music from your iPod to your computer either.
