I had my first period 2 months after my surgery and Im bleeding through my tampons very heavy. How do I know the incision underneath the skin did not open

No i don't think this is the case-but if your really worried go to your doctor and ask.I had a c-section and the bleeding was pretty heavy too.

It's very unlikely. Your body is probably just readjusting after having a baby. My first periods after birth were always really weird or bad. I'm talking period, not afterbirth bleeding.

it can open but it shouldn't you should go to you doctor and have him examine your incision site.
