The walking distance between Waterloo and Victoria is approximately 1.5 miles or 2.45 kilometers so the time depends on how fast you walk. I would assume this would take at least 30 minutes if you walk briskly. The route that I calculated involves taking York Rd. South from Waterloo and crossing the Thames on Bridge Street and then taking Victoria Street to the Coach Station. This route is very safe and the simplest.

The tube would definitely be faster and easier. I also wouldn't expect safety to be a concern when using the tube in this area of London. You could make the trip in about 8-10 minutes by taking the Jubilee line from Waterloo to Westminster and then taking the District or Circle line to Victoria.

Hope this helps :-)

Walk out the 'War memorial' exit of Waterloo (opposite the Eurostar Terminal). Turn left. Walk across the road and under the railway arch and you'll see the Hungerford Bridge over the Thames. Walk over this bridge and you're at Embankment Underground station. Hop onto the Westbound District or Circle line here and it's 3 stops to Victoria. Total journey - around 20-25 mins.

Um just trying to think out of the box, but wouldn't it be better to take the Tube? After all you are at the subway station already and they have these things that run underground and carry people right to the place you want to be.

Take the Tube to the Victoria station and follow the signe to the coach station, it's only 300 meters away.

If you want to walk and save the 2 pound fair, it will take you about an hour.
