mostly women then become prostitutes instead of just beggars,,,, they can make money and to them live a better life

In the US (California), that's because a lot of them are former Vietnam Vets that came back with some post traumatic stress syndrome.
Women usually can work the system or the system is geared to help women. Women's shelters, trap men by getting pregnant, government programs and alimony.

Because people are taught that women are weaker and that they should be taken care of no matter what, and that guys that are homeless did it to themselves. There is no sympathy for a failed man regardless of whether he is to blame or not - he is expendable.

in mexico the beggers or usually single mothers of kids and the men are the ones owning the shops and stuff
but here is b/c women are more responsible and know that there job is their life

Well, I have to agree that it is because the are bag ladies and probably utilize any services available rather than stand at intersections.

Because the U.S.Goverment has failed the MEN !
Where as the females are readily taken care of by several means, WOMEN , INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC), WELFARE , WOMEN IN NEED (WIN) !
