Why does my external hard drive crashes everytime I defrag or copy files out of the external hardrive? my external hard disk would stop responding and at the taskbar would appear "write delay failed" whats the problem of my external hard drive?

maybe u should try formatting it... sounds like its having trouble reading from the disk.
