I recently looked into my computer and there are some residues on my sound/video card and other places that are obviously dust/dirt related in nature, but dusting alone (with cloth or air) won't remove it. Is there a solution of any kind that is safe to use and will work? Thanks!

Use the canned air. I wouldn't be too concerned if there is some residue or dirt left. A cleaning compound could corrode and do more damage than any dust. As long as the dust isn't impeding with cooling, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just using a mild detergent in warm water should take care of it in a hurry. It won't take very much before you will see significant results. I hope I mentioned leaving it plugged in. Now, I have a question for you. Do you like the fourth of July?Good Luck and God Bless

I would leave it alone, but if you must dip a qtip in rubbing alcohol and use it.
