Cinnamon will get rid of ants, they eat it take it to the queen and the queen and them all die

Sounds crazy, but try vinegar! Fill a squirt bottle with plain old cheap white vinegar, and squirt it anyplace you've seen ants (kitchen counters, windowsills, etc) and let it dry.
It's non-toxic, won't harm anything, and the smell will go away in just a couple of minutes. It worked for me!
Also if you caulk up their entrance point, it can keep them from coming back.

You can get rid of souldier ants by spraying insecticide on every corner you feel that you can find them or any corner they do hide.
