I don't think he'll go home this week... or even next week. But eventually it will be his time. With the small amount of fabulous singers that there are this year, everyone that actually enjoys idol will band together and vote for the ones that are worthy. So, eventually he will go... just give it a few weeks.
I think the real competition will end up between Lakisha, Melinda, Jordin, Blake and Chris S. The rest are only mediocre in their musical talent and will only be able to make it so far.

We all know that Sanjaya should not have made it into the top 12. He just does not have what it takes for the competition. I think that Melinda Dooloittle is a shoe in to win.

I think votefortheworst.com should be outlawed! Its so completely ridiculous that these people are making a joke out of this. I believe that it is the ONLY reason that Sanjaya is still there and I think that it is the ONLY reason Taylor Hicks won last year. WHO ARE THE PEOPLE THAT ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO THIS SITE AND LISTENING TO WHAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY?!? Anyhow, my favorites are Blake Lewis and Chris Richardson and I really like Gina Glocksen... they are all original and are bringing it like no other contestants have before. I like Melinda and Lakisha- but they don't have anything that we haven't already seen on EVERY other season of AI since day one.

I have no idea how he's lasted this long. I guess a smile goes a long way. But have you noticed, he's pretty much broken spirit-wise. Week after week of getting pounded by the judges, it looks like he just wants to go home. Unfortunately, he'll probably make it through a few more rounds.
My American Idol, like much of America's, is Melinda. I'm personally not as sold on Lakisha as the judges are, but she's good too. And how about Jordin last night? How about a final 3 of Melinda...Lakisha...and Jordin?

Sanjaya has a strong voice if he would just get vocal coaching. As for this season, I don't think he can become the next American Idol. Maybe next season... I don't really have a favorite.

Sanjaya reminds me of a cross of Michael Jackson and Prince.. he can't sing, he like wispers up there, and all the 13 year old girls need to stop voting for him.

Sanjaya is so sweet and I like him. But, he does not excite me when he performs. His performances are always too weak and not enough pizzazz. I LOVE Doolittle and Lakesha, one of them will win for sure.
