for woodwork i am creating a box. I want mine to be guitar themed so that I can keep all the stuff for my electric guitar in it. Has anyone got any original ideas on how I could dcorate the outside. Not just pics of guitars though something orginal and unique! PLEASE!

maybe put a neck on it and some strings and make an actual guitar.

My idea would to decoupage parts of a key chart (the one that shows the strings and placement of your fingers) or some sheet music, maybe even the plastic buttons you can find with the music theme, just cut off the thread holder on the back and glue on the box.

Decoupage!
Pick up a rock magazine or guitar catalog and cut out pictures of guitars, sheet music, names of instrument makers that you like.
Use modgepodge for the adhesive.

Parts of a guitar, like the end near your left hand; strings, pic, the center hole, part of a song sheet.

Put pictures or symbols of your favorite bands/guitar players or symbols of whatever type of music you like. Or you could be VERY rock and roll by painting it all black and putting "rock n' roll" on the top. I hope this helps!
