I may have already answered another iteration of your question, but just in case I'm wrong - here's the answer: I have the answer for you - definitely free (both sites I'm about to tell you about) and enormous libraries from which to choose. Project Gutenberg is the place for free public-domain books of all sorts. In addition, if you would like to listen to the books in addition to reading them, or maybe instead of reading them with your eyes, then in addition to Project Gutenberg, Librivox is your answer. It is also entirely free, with all books read by volunteers. I've included links for you. Enjoy a world of information and entertainment at the click of a key.

It is better you search by topics rather than book, you get better insight on the concept and multiple point of views too.
