Ok, here it goes and please dont find this to be a stupid ? I was curious if most women shave their private area? I dont know because my mom never taught me and that is not something that usually comes up in conversation.

Your Mom proabably never talked to you about it because it has just become "the thing to do" in about the last 10 years. I can give you some advice though.....
If you don't want to get waxed, use an electric razor or beard trimmer. If you use a metal edge razor ( like the one you shave your legs with) you will get serious razor burn and bumps....ouch!

everyone is different and prefer different things. Some woman just shave or wax there bikini area, some do whats called a Brazilian which is everything from the front to underneath, and other shave or wax into shapes like a heart or something. It just depend but if you are going to try to shave remember to be careful that is a sensitive area, trim the hair with scissors first then shave or have waxed. When you shave make sure to take it slow only shave the area once and us a good shaving cream or baby shampoo. Good Luck

It's all a personal preference and some cultures don't ever shave at all it's found to be sexy I guess. If you want to wear bikinis and stuff though you should at least shave around the edges so that hair doesn't stick out. Most women I know (myself included) leave a "landing strip". This is shaving the outside edges and the labia (outer vaginal lips). The first few times you do it it will itch when it grows bak but if you keep up the grooming your skin there will get used to it. Also make sure that you use a SHARP not dull razor to avoid nicks and cuts. Use shaving cream and shave in the direction of hair growth. Hope this helps you out hon...

I trim mine up. My hubby likes me to be trimmed up during sex so I try to trim up as best as I can. I used to shave it all off, but due to razor burn I stopped. If you dont feel comfortable shaving then dont. There are a lot of men or boys depending on your age that dont mind hair down there.

It's all personal preference according to what YOU want to do. There is no requirement to shave there.
I have never shaved there and neither has my mom. I do trim mine a bit to make it easier to clean and for summer heat.

Well it all depends on urself if ya want to shave it and i know a lot of woman/girls do shave it really all depends on urself like just said most ppl do wel the ppl i know tho.

i'm undecided what you're embarrassed approximately. HE walked in on YOU, no longer vice versa. And he closed the door and left you on your privateness. so as that shows he has some admire. only set it up in case you experience okay to achieve this, yet be sure you the two are comfortable with it. apart from preliminary nerves. And make a %. that what happens on your room, keeps to be there.

Do whatever you want. Your mother probably didn't say anything to you about it because (1) it' something she's not comfortable speaking to you about & (2) it's a personal choice, either you do it or you don't. No big deal either way.

I think its become a trend lately.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it though, don't do it.
