I went to the dr. today and she told me I was 4cm dilated, and 90% thinned out. I stayed at three cm for such a long time. When I came home I started spotting, I called the nurse and she told me its probably just the result of the exam. My dude date was MArch 7th I dont want to be pregnant any longer, I ve been walking and doing everything, any suggestions?(this is not my first baby) I am scheduled to be induced on friday but dont feel I should have to wait even that long, my baby is big and healthy.

go to the hospital they should keep you at 4 cm and if this is not your first baby labor can move more quickly

Well, you might try castor oil. Do a search on the web of "induction" and "castor oil" to find out how much to use and what others think of it. I did it with my third baby, and it seemed to work (who could possibly know for sure). Or, it could have been the caffeine in the Coke I used to disguise the awful taste. I was 4 cm when I did it. I would never recommend this to a woman who wasn't already full term, but you certainly are.

OH HUNNY they should not have sent you home at 4cm they should have kept you. Did they strip your membrains?
I have never herd of anybody being sent home being 4cm dialated ans 90% thinned out. That baby could come out and you not even know your in labor. Thats crazy If I were you I would go back up to the hospital and sit untill they got you a room.
Did they even hook you up to a machine to see if you were contracting?

Id be calling a different hospital and tell them whats going on and to see what they would recomend you to do!!!!!

Best of luck!

Hang in there, you are in the home stretch. Sounds like you may not make it to Friday, but it is only 2 days away. As long as the baby is happy and healthy, that should be your only concern. Good Luck,

It's just two days, wait it out! It sounds like you should go into labor anytime, so you might not need to be induced anyway. Good luck, it will be over before you know it!

Try doing wide hip circles and then squat until the pressure builds from the baby's head then push down. Best of luck.
