A car crash
I have a terrible fear of drowning! I am a good swimmer and have taught countless others how to swim. I used to be a lifeguard and pool manager, so to actual drown would be the worst fate for me because I know I should be able to prevent it.

I saved a young boy from drowning last summer, and when I was under the water and spotted him as he struggled to get to the surface he seem to just give up at the last moment and seem satisfied at that point,it was kinda spooky, but I grabbed him and brought him to the surface he was scared, but OK! It turned out that he fell out of his inner tube, and the parents were busy with the younger child. I'll pick car crash!

Car crash, it is quicker and you could die instantly. Drowning would be the worst because there is nothing you can do about it and it is long and painful.
