Rent a buffalo?

Question

I was wondering if there was anywhere in illinois or around illinois I could rent or steal a buffalo.

(the reason is for a senior prank)

In Gillespie, Illinois they breed buffalo. You'd have to call them to see if they'd rent one. (I have no idea, I just know they breed them and used to show them)

I wouldn't recommend stealing it. For one thing, you'd have to get it in the trailer, and for another thing the locals would call the cops on you. (At least in this case)

I can't find their phone number right now, but I can give you directions to get there or ask my hubby for the phone number.

Danielle is right about how dangerous they are. You might want to rethink this.

That is a very very bad idea- Buffalos are one of the most dangerous animals and wouldn't think twice about running you over or jabbing you with their horns (both male and females have them). What you call a senior prank may turn into an attempted murder.

Probably not in your best interest to do this. Buffalo are very aggressive and you could get hurt or killed. I doubt you will find anyone that would rent you one for a prank, since these animals are expensive.

I really doubt it. I'm sure you are just joking but in case you are not - call the police department and ask them where the last buffalo was stolen from and they can tell you. If you really have a reason to rent a buffalo (which I can't imagine what it could be) call the animal shelter and see if they have buffalo's or call farms in the area.
