Yeah, so I'm new to the whole YA thing and I did that!!!!! I really didn't mean to. I saw the question was in voting and I didn't know what it was so I clicked on my answer. Next thing I know it says I've gotten Best Answer. I felt so bad. I would never want Best Answer by giving it to myself!? Damn.... I still feel bad about that.

yes you can vote for your own answer and people do all the time..I like earning my points though. You don't think these people have 300,000 points or earn 12,000 points in one week honestly do ya.

Absolutely..i see a lot of that here everyday. Seems a lot of folks just want validation of their own opinions. They could care less if someone gives them an honest answer.

If your talking about questions that have gone to voting, of course but that's ok, no rule against that.

They can't. Yahoo answers won't allow it. It says so once a question has been answered so there's no use trying it.

All the time, if the asker hasn't picked it then you can vote for yourself. It's not wrong.
