winmgmnt, Rsrcmtr, remind32, osd and hp_finder . are those all things that are running or can i shut them down. i don't understand

those are processes that run in the backround. you can terminate them but you have to know exactly what your terminating. for example if you have dial-up and you terminate aol.exe your internet will shut down in 1 second tops.

Those are all process that are running in the back ground. A lot of them your computer needs to use to keep running. Dont shut them down unless you know what it does. You can type them in on yahoo or google and find out if you need them or not.

This is the windows task manager.This keeps record of the programs which are currently running on your computer.you should only shut the programs which are addressed to the user.you can know what is going around your computer.
