I guess you could say they were in a way. Michael Jackson is soooo out of touch he is not in his right mind to say what is right or wrong, most people were ignorant in the sense that they could not see that....instead of helping the sad lonely guy they kick him when he's down.
So maybe not 'ignorant', but cruel, yes.

People are being ignorant when they just write off any grown man sleeping with little kids in bed.

He's a freak. Nothing more, nothing less. If it wasn't for his money he would have been convicted. The parents of the molested children should have also been investigated. They were only trying to get rich using their children. Let's concentrate on the children!
