I see women saying they'll do physical harm to their partner if he strays... So why get into a relationship or get married if you are going to be so violent???

That's not all women though. Infidelity is not what causes relationships to break down, a break down in the relationship causes infidelity. Some of us understand that.
Most people get married because it is easier to support children in that type of environment.
Being married is fun.

Ethics comes from a higher being. Why do you think some issues, like homesexuality or some other things that seem like they could go either way, seem like they aren't alright when there was never a law that frowned upon it.Society has made it o.k. for a couple of things. Example Opera had a show discouraging black and white marriages than had a show supporting them. What was going on between those two shows was the reshaping of society. Between thoseperiod major changes took place. There is nothing wrong with a black and white marriage. But there is something wrong with some things that society is beginging to accept. People who aren't even religous don't realize where they have come from. remember even in America, the primary relighion was based on the Bible. People get married because a lot of the things come uncontinously from the Bible. Culture and a lot of other things come from the Bible. Why do you think people usually get married in a church. It is only recently that you hear of all these people who try to be what they call unique or create something special by getting married in a garden or something like that. Even at those times it may still be in front of priest. Over the years society has strayed away from what it use to be. Most people think society has evolved, but in actuallity it has diminished (increase crime murder and all the other bad stuff). A lot of people don't even know where there Bible is or read only about a paragraph worth of the whole book. Marriage is important morally as wellas some otehr reasons.

You can say the same thing about us men. Why get married if getting laid is the most important thing on our minds? Some of us however know that there is more to life than how much sex we can get - that's what becoming a grownup is all about.
