I had my ignition replaced on it on Friday.. the guy told me he didn't have the device to reset the codes or something and that I should bring it back on Tuesday so he could finish it. I called him yesterday and he told me that after 50 starts it would reset itself. Is this true or is he just trying to not finish the job?

it will reset itself in time. all he is going to do is hook up a programmer and clear the code. so, you can go to autozone and the'll do it, or you can unhook the battery. any of these things will do the trick.
