You will have to change the whole government to make a difference. I am already tired of these fraudulent global warming issues. If they lived in my house they would pray for global warming.

Yes. To be honest, I don't think there is much to choose between the two main parties, or their leaders at the moment. Quite soon, however, Tony Blair is going to step down as Prime Minister, and it is very likely that Gordon Brown will take his place.

In my view Gordon Brown will make a much better Prime Minister than David Cameron for a number of reason's.

For a start Brown is much more experienced than Cameron. He is also a conviction politician who truly believes in his policies and ideas, in comparison to Cameron who has a Blair like tendency to jump on bandwagons to gain transient popularity. In addition, Brown as chancellor, has presided over the most stable economy the UK has seen in decades.
Lastly Brown has a social conscience, and I think he is much more likely to effectively address the problems of those who still live in or near to poverty in this country.

So, I would say the difference between Brown and Cameron is much more pronounced than that between Blair and Cameron. And given the choice I would vote for Brown over Cameron every time.

So, yes I do believe that Gordon Brown as PM will make a big difference.

(I'm guessing you are british)

It does matter as they way they run the country is very important to the everyday tax payer.

If Gordon Brown is prime minister taxes for everything will go throuhg the roof to cover for all the money he has lost so far.

If David Cameron is the next PM then cars will become very expensive to run and drive, but being a married family will save you money.

If Ming Campbell is the next PM then who knows what would happen!

So, in conclusion, it does matter who the next PM is!

Well, not really. The two major parties are both in the middle ground of politics, so there isn't a huge difference in policies. Also, David Cameron today is identical to Tony Blair of 1997.

Regrettably, I do not. So many of us are disenfranchised because all the main political parties are the same. Neither Labour nor the Lib Dems will change even with a new leader but it is just possible that the Tories, given a diffent leader might offer some hope. It doesn't seem likely though so I shall vote UKIP.

Absolutely none if the current two party system continues, particularly as they are all vying for a very narrow patch of middle-ground. Populism is all that matters now and there is no chance of either a Labour or Tory PM setting policies in line with anything they actually believe in.
