This power cord should be OK to use on an HP ProLiant server, right?

I am looking to replace a server power cord with the one in the above link. The one currently being used is also a 16AWG but of longer length (maybe 2 or 3 times longer).

Yes it will work. I have 1 power cord that is 15 feet long for bench testing systems. Length in this way does not affect the system or performance.

Yes. Shorter cords will have less electrical resistance, longer cords more.
