personally,i would pay for my daughter even if i never saw her....cause i want her to have the best, and that would help....but mothers use visitation in evil games all the time, so should the fathers be able to do the same thing? its onlyfair, really. not seeing your children can be a living hell. so can not having money. if we made the system more fair, would the children win? if the father can see the kids, but chooses not to, he pays by default, and should be made to be known for what he is...........and is court orderedchild support fair? in most cases it seems so, but let me hear your opinions....on the subject.....not on me...thanks

child support is for the CHILD. but so is visitation. they both hurt the child. thats the question. and i happen to be a stay at home dad which is why i have time to do this.

no, i mean...no visitation, no support. not lots of visitation, no support.

if that were true, then visitation would be withheld from parents who dont pay... which is NOT in the best interest of the child.

there are reasons why it is a separate issue in court.

todays courts do not tolorate a parent not allowing visitation; i've seen 'em even threaten to take custody from the one denying it. they get in big trouble.

for the record, fathers are on evil games as well... most stalkers are men as are molesters. dont make it a man/woman thing.... its not right nor accurate.

My ex hardly ever pays child support (he's approx. $10,000 behind now) and does not make an effort to see our daughters. We were in Wal-mart a few months ago and he walked by us as if he didn't know who we were. He left me, not them, you know? Just because we didn't work out as a couple doesn't mean we wouldn't work out as (separate) parents. Every extra penny I have goes to my kids and if he called and wanted to see them, I'd be all for it. I would not let them go anywhere with him, though. He can come and see the girls or I'd be happy to bring them somewhere (public) where he could see them. If he'd make an honest attempt at being their father, I could make an attempt at overlooking the court ordered child support that I'm not getting. My kids mean the world to me and I don't want them growing up with the mindset that their daddy doesn't want them (tho that is the impression he gives).

There is no relationship between ability to produce sperm and anything else whatever.

I know thousands of men with children that are worthless as parents and shouldn't be permitted within 10 miles of anyone under the age of 18

I think that both parents are equally responsible for the child ,therefore if the man or woman are paying child support they have every right to see the child ,why pay child support if you dont even get to see the child thats just rediculous
