There is this gel stuff in our terrarium... what could it be?

We found this gel stuff and we don't know what it is. Last night my sister put a crayfish in the terranium but I don't think that has anything to do with this because their eggs don't look like that. The gel looks a lot like ice but has black dots inside.

What kinds of animals live in your terrarium? It sounds like some sort of eggs to me.
