Yup...and it started at the same time as you.
Your joints are preparing for child birth so they're very loose.
I had to walk around at night sometime because it was so bad and that seemed to be the only way to make it feel even a little bit better.

I had that about mid second trimester. I called my doctor because I thought I was in labor. She told me to put a pillow between my knees at night. Your hips are hurting because they are still expanding to accomodate the baby. It's painful but you don't have much longer. My doctor also told me to take a warm (not hot) bath to help with the pain when you get up. The pillow helped me sleep and the bath helped ease the pain. If you are in doubt about any methods or you are ALOT of pain, call your doctor. He/She can give you more advice or might need to see you to make sure everything's okay. You're almost there!!! Hang in there!!!

Yes mine hurt so bad that sometimes I want to cry...it's worst when I wake up but if I walk alot during the day it's bad too. The baby dropped almost 2 weeks ago, which is unusual in a multiple time mother (except for my first and now none of mine have ever dropped before labor). So I am feeling her low like I'm walking around her head every step I take...Your body is also producing relaxin to prepare for labor(relaxin relaxes your joints) and this can contribute to some of the pain as well...

Yes I had the same thing happen at about 25 weeks or so!!! In fact, I couldn't walk due to hip pain it was so bad. I am telling you the pain was UNREAL! truly excruciating.
I got cortisone shots in both of my hip joints at the orthopedist. he said it was bursitis and it was caused by weeble-wobbling when you walk (due to the big belly) . So I try to walk as straight as possible and try not to wobble from side to side when I walk.
I also find that putting a pillow in between my legs, but keeping the bottom leg fully stretched out really helped.
A couple of weeks later the pain subsided. But now it seems to hurt again at night, but not nearly as bad.
I am in my 34 th week right now. Good luck!

Yes, your hips can 'hurt' when you are pregnant ... it's normal' because as you get closer to the 'birth' of your baby, your pelvis 'widens' and that can throw the 'hip connections' slightly out of 'whack' ...
DO NOT TAKE ANY ASPIRIN OR IBUPROFEN for the 'pain' in your hips, though. Try taking a 'hot bath' and 'soaking' your hips if your doctor says it's 'okay' or take ACETOMINOPHEN ... if that doesn't 'help with the pain' then talk to your doctor about giving you something 'stronger' that won't 'hurt the baby' ...

when you are in the last few weeks your hips start to spread to get ready for the baby, i had a lot of problems with my hips and the only thing that helped was a warm bubble bath to help take the pressure off

I am 30 weeks too. I have that same problem too. I use pillows in between my legs to keep them apart so my hips don't hurt. It is nice. It works well for me. Hope it helps you! And congrats on the baby!!!

Yep. Felt like the baby was going to fall out while I was walking.
Not much you can do. Your body is producing a chemical to get your hips to spread - so that the baby can pass thru the birth canal.
Congrats!

oh yeah...my back too...but try the pillow between the legs thing it really helps..and hugging another one doesnt hurt either...the pain is likely from the cartilage softening in the pubic(?)/pelvis bone as they are readying to open up during birthing to allow the baby to pass through
