AV softwares is really on the user's satisfaction if the AV is effective or not.

thre are alot of AV over the net that is free and its up to you to choose the one that fits your computer usage..

AVG is the most used for FREE AV, since its being offered free and its size is small enough to fit a 4G HDD w/o thinking that you will run out of space..

you can get AVG pro or the registered edition if you are skilled enough to research(if you know what i mean) if bundle is what you want, ZoneLab offers AV + anti spyware + firewall + many more features, ofcourse you all get this in the registered version, again be skillfull/resourcefull.

just find the suitable AV for your needs, try everything that the web is offering, then uninstall it if youre not satisfied.

A**holes On LIne has an antivirus program? I wouldn't trust ANYTHING from them. Try AVAST Free Home edition if you need a free antivirus, or Grisoft's AVG antivirus.
