i am of the opinion that so long as it is not smoked along with tobacco that it does more good than harm.

You're looking for trouble. Do what you doctors tell you to do. Diet, medications, exercise, everything. EVEN if the marijuana does not do your type 2 diabetes any harm, you still benefit much more by NOT having it.

Hmm, weed has considerably more tar than nicotine i believe. So definitly worse for your lungs. Just look at the state of a bud bomb or a water pipe after a few uses.
Can't remember the exact details but according to chinese medicine theory it will ultimately deplete yin and create damp heat as i was told once. And they're not a good thing ...

Cannabis is pretty much bad for everything and everybody. It increases the incidence of depression and schizophrenia. In chronic users it usually produces a marked increase in brain atrophy or shrinkage. This both causes and accentuates dementia.

Of course it could also be that chronic cannabis users are a bit demented already, or why on earth would they use it?

I say Marijuana is good for everything. But you must control your eating if you have diabetes. Those darn munchies!

I don't think so, but cutting all grains, beans and potatoes from your diet will help - these foods put a lot of extra glucose into your body and are not really compatible with our genetics.
