Brian Deane scored the first goal in the 5th minute for Sheffield United against Manchester United on 15 August 1992 which the Blades won 2-1. it was the first goal scored in the Premiership.

It was Brian Deane, I was a lucky bas**d Deane, when they bet Man U 2-1 in Aug 92. I think it was a header if my memory serves me correctly
