i was in the southern region of saudia arabia. actually an irish woman saw it too. right after i asked her if she saw it (apparently, she was looking up in the same direction) the "thing" just disappeared into thin air

thanks blondnirvana. it was a clear, cloudless day. it was windy alright but the "thing" was not moving at all. no sound, no movements (like spinning). it was on the west. basing on the treeline, it was 20-30 meters above the ground. if i stretch my hand, it would be the size of a small marble. one thing is for sure. it was smooth and shiny. there were no creases or wrinkles like a balloon should have.
the southern region of saudi is made up of mountain ranges.

well, think about it...u can really believe what ever you want to...it just may have been a UFO, and as for the other woman maybe she believes it too...its really a coincidence. i mean, i have seen weird things all around the sky and they most of the times are just normal things such as airplanes and things, but when i did see something like that, i did have a feeling that maybe its something like a UFO but i wasn't...so the bottom line is that it may have been a UFO, just depends on what you wanna believe...who knows there just may be creatures looking at us right now...

yes, UFO .. as to be an unidentified Object in the sky.
hmm
even if you ruled out that it was a balloon i would like to point out that it could have been a balloon, just for the fact that they can be launched for a multitude of reasons and they could appear silverish/metallic.
they can even climb at high speeds and perform wild maneuvers due to severe winds in the upper sky.
may it be common to send out metereologic balloons which climb at moderate speeds, it could have been a stratosphere-probe of some sort.
however you left out alot of details to this observation.

where exactly was that ?
looking what direction ?
where there any sounds ?
how large was it ?
if you stretch out your arm which common object you would hold this way would completly cover, what you observed ?
did it maneuvered somehow ?
how did it actually move ?
did it change color ?
did it changed its shape ?
did something seperate from it, or fells off ?
was there any form of smoke coming from the object ?
if so which color ?

how where the general observing conditions ?
how was the sky ? clear ? cloudy ?
if there were clouds ..
what would they tell about ..wind in that height ?
what sort of clouds where there ? can you tell ?

how was the wind @ ground level ?
which direction, which speed ?

was there something else unusual ?

how far away from the coastline was that ?
are there any military bases or airports nearby ?
was there any military operation nearby, you know of ?
any military action right before, or after observations ?
(take everything into account +/- 2 days)

have you seen it once, or multiple times ?

actually this is whats necessary getting 'an idea' of what you saw

My popular color of the sky is at the same time as the solar is going down and the sky turns pinkish-red. that's so acceptable. If there have been a private sea coast some the position the position i'd nicely be on my own, i'd basically sit down outdoors on the shore and be marveled by ability of the sky.

Could have been my hubcap, I lost one about that time takin' a sharp curve at high speed. *Just kidding*, more than likely, it was was an event that will probably never be solved. Like so many before you, it will remain a mystery. All that really matters is what you believe you saw.

No one can tell you any different unless they were there. Just remember "The Truth Is Out There!"

There in no doubt that you witnessed first hand a UFO.
Metallic ball,eh.
Any flying object that could disappear into thin air would have to be a UFO.
Thing eh.

WHEN I WAS 9, I'm 34 now, i was awakened by a bright light in the yard, i got up and went to the window, looked out, and the light had changed from white to what we now call 'BLACK LIGHT" then it changed to BLUE, it was so bright it took my breath away--stupid me, went out to the front steps, looked up, and there, big as you please, was the biggest egg shaped object i had ever seen in my life, it just hung there, kinda spinning, then, as i turned to go get my mom, it was gone, my eyes hurt so bad, icould not go to school the next 3 days, i never told mom---not any one till now-

By definition, it was an "unidentified" flying object. That doesn't mean it was an alien spaceship.
