I love the show Touched by an Angel, but I know it is fictional. I don't believe we can communicate with angels, but I do believe in guardian angels. I think we should be conversing with God on our needs, not his angels.

You can ask any kind of being you want for help, even unicorns or faries. They may not actually be there, but nothing can stop you from asking. As for having an interactive conversation, only you can answer that. I'm inclined to say no, but if you feel that one has answered you directly, that is your experience. We can debate about its legitimacy, but whether you believe the experience is real is up to you.
