accountable. everyone laughs and makes fun....but freedom isnt free, someone always wants to take it, and profitr from it. and if you are going to live in this country, you have a CIVIC DUTY to keep an eye on the govt. freedom is always hanging by a thread, we gotta make sure it doesnt get cut. whose with me? whose against me? leave your ideas without bashing mind please

im not just talking about feds, either....alot of corruption in the local and stat govts in the southwest anyway....dunno how they are elswhere

We do have the responsibility to hold our leaders to a moral standard that we should dictate. This does not make us paranoid, just believers in the system.

You are absolutely right. Democracy is not for the lazy. One needs to be ever vigilant or lose the freedoms one has. Wake up and observe. You may not like what you see. If you don't like what you see change the view. In a democracy you can do that.
