I honestly think our "world" is in "Big-Trouble!!" They cant accomidate all of those big rigs, and with all of these fishing boats, taking all of the crabs, lobster's and shrimp off of the ocean floor, in which God put them there to clean the ocean floor.... And with our country being the most hated because of Bush Jr., after he's out of the 'White House' I could easily see someone Nuking us, anytime now!! So, in all honesty I dont see the world coming to an end through "Global Warming" but through "Jesus' Coming!" First, and foremost, then "Government's" will demand everyone to take the New World Order" than all will come to a "Rapid" ending!! And if our country survives Nuclear WAR!! What people are left will be so deranged that this world will be such an "ugly world" to live in, by that point!! So, to answer your question, NOW, is the time, to draw near, to God!!! Not tomorrow, not in a month from now, But today, is the day!!! smile!!!

When running for vice president, he promised time and time again that the very first thing he would do when he got into office was to get a team of experts in every field and explore alternative energy sources. In 8 eight years, HE DID NOTHING OF THE SORT. He was also part of the move to kill the electric car!!

Well, more than likely, bankrupt. China and other 3rd world countries will refuse to sign pacts/treaties like the Kyoto treaty thereby growng strongger and burning more fossil fuel than other countires. The US will be under such pressure form the likes of Al Gore and other groups that they'll cave in and become non-competitive since alternative energy sources will not be in place to support America's infastructure.

For one we would lose much of our coastal areas,Florida alone would be reduced about 50%. The grain belt of the USA would most likely be wiped out due to change of weather and no rain, Weather and storms would be more violent,Hurricanes for one, would increase in number and in intensity.Lakes and rivers would dry up in some areas and new floods and wetlands wold form in others.The map of the USA would totally change and life as we know it would also.

The US will see the midwest become more desert like and the coasts will become wetter and filled with more vegetation. However the with the current state of technology, we will simply adjust to the new climate. Coastal flooding will not occur in any large scale way (much to the chagrin of the environmentalists) and our coastal cities will be relatively unaffected by rising sea water.

USA: The west and east coasts will flood.
Tornadoes will be more prevalent from tx to ND.
Insurance rates will rise. Housing prices will rise.

Nothing will happen in our lifetime. But because of all the emissions released in the atmosphere because of cars and factories etc. The temperature on earth will continue to rise, the polar caps will continue to melt and the sea level will continue to rise.
