Umm, have you looked at most of the male contestants in previous years? They should have called it "Gay American Idol."

It's all about what people want to see. If that could get raitings like the original American Idol then that would be a good idea. I dont see the point of having a show like that when gays are perfectly welcome to be on the original one though. It's about what will get the ratings hence, MONEY!!

Hmm, I have always heard gays, blacks, women, etc. wanting equal rights. Now you want special rights? There is an American Idol. If you are any good compete in that. Don't form your own competition that is going to discriminate against others.

Because we shouldn't have to segregate ourselves. Someone who is gay can and should win American Idol. I think it would be wrong if they split us all up into little groups, as straight people can listen to gay people singing and vice versa. I understand why you would want a seperate Idol for us, but I don't think it would be a good thing. If society is going to accept us, they have to see us, and know us.

Because we'd all vote for you and you'd win...and I'd be sad because I never stood a chance and plus...your 90-year old neighbor would spend too much time in front of the TV and her pansies would suffer.

Because FOX knows there won't be any good ratings for that and barely anyone one would watch it. Not trying to be mean but I would not watch that.

I don't know. There's a Gay USA pagent. they haven't been sued as far as I know. You should try to change the name and do a show on the internet. I'd watch it (and Im not gay)
