She sings well but she reminds me of something but I can't pinpoint it. The animated show "Arthur" keeps popping into my head.

I don't know. However, she has heard enough praise by now to stop acting so surprised every time she does well...its starting to look fake.

She's a great singer and I hope she wins.
Simon said she reminds him of a young Gladys Knight.
I wish she were more bubbly, but I'm sure she's kind of overwhelmed at her own success and she's probably never been on TV before.
GIve her a break! BUt I will say she should dress differently.

Ha ha...the sister on Arthur. Yeah... I like Melinda's singing, but she has no neck. When she stands up her head just seems to loll around on her shoulders.

i would not know, since i have a LIFE! AND DO NOT! WATCH THE StuPID SHOW THE AMERICAN IDOLATRY!! this show should be taaken off air, and all the producers, and writers, as well as the talentless creeps on this lame show, put in jail for fraud!
