Well i gotta say i hate the killers and the strokes, buts thats just me.
As far as similair music, sounds like you've found a taste for bands heavily influenced by new wave and post punk.
Your probibly gonna like :
Death Cab For Cutie
The Shins
Bloc Party
Albert Hammond Jr. (from the Strokes)
Cold War Kids
Snow Patrol
Silversun Pickups
The Decemberist
The Faint
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Kings of Leon
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Peter Bjorn and John
Interpol
The Arcade Fire
Hot Chip
TV on the Radio
The Kooks...........
These are all current bands, what I think you should do is get into the bands that influenced them also.
Virtually every single band you would like is influenced by :
Joy Division
New Order
My Bloody Valentine
Galaxie 500
Serge Gainsborg
David Bowie
Brian Eno
The Clash
Violent Femmes
The New York Dolls
The Stone Roses
Iggy Pop
The Ramones
The Cure
The Velvet Underground
Echo and the Bunnymen
Jesus and the Mary Chain
Pixies......
There are so many more new and old bands you need to hear. So here is what you do, go to a gas station / bookstore / whatever and pick up a Spin or Rolling Stone. They are the same (lukewarm and safe reviews on new and old music), pick out some bands and look them up on amazon.com and myspace. Both websites will give you a sample of the artist albums. Amazon.com also gives you similar bands and common trends in music (so if you like The Killers it will list similar artist). Also pitchforkmedia.com is the sort of the mecca for hipsters and indie rockers, it reviews all the "cool" music, check it out.
Next when you find a band you really like, look them up on wikipedia.org. You'll discover new cool words like "shoegazing", "dreampop", "electroclash" "post punk", "lo-fi" "nu wave" and more. Have fun, and learn where your music came from. Find out what you like and why. And screw people who tell you your music sucks (yea me too). If you like it rock it out.

NOOO evaluation!!! actual, an comments an opinion however the only way you may desire to opt for Franz Ferdinand is merely in case you havent heard the strokes previously. that's in all probability the main distant evaluation question you have published!(ahh!!!ok nice!! in my view!!!)

check out the fratellis. cool stuff
plain white tees, white stripes....if you like the strokes, they are usually mentioned in the same sentence as the white stripes. but, there's really so many in that vein
also, the 90s low-fi scene was awesome and it seems you might like that. try pavement first.
EDIT: lol. My chemical romance? panic! at the disco? lol....i think we've found someone whose musical knowledge is even more sub-human :)

Try these websites:
www.pandora.com
www.last.fm
All you do is type in the name of an artist you like and then the website will create a radio station made up of similar artists. Its fantastic because it will introduce you to music you have never heard before and before you know it, your musical repertoire will be greatly enriched!
