Sometimes I get the feeling my friend likes me, but I keep telling myself it's not possible. Whenever he sees me he smiles - a proper, face-lighting-up smile. He sometimes smiles at me across the room for no particular reason. When we're walking somewhere he walks really close to me, but I might be imagining that. He'll often sit next to me, either when we're at friends' houses or at church (where I know him from). Recently he's started apologising if he doesn't sit with me - saying things like 'I've just got to go and talk to ...' when I'd made no mention of him sitting with me. I talk to him a lot, and sometimes he asks me questions like when my birthday is. He tells me a lot about himself and his family, and has confided in me when he's had problems with one of his friends. He'll always talk to me when he sees me, and sometimes I get the impression he's trying to be close to me or coming to things because he knows I'll be there. He's shy so it's hard to tell what he's thinking.

Well, what do you think? Does that sound like the behavior of a person who doesn't like you or is disinterested?
If you like him (as more than a friend) then let him know...if he's shy he's going to have a hard time coming out and telling you how he feels, but his actions appear to be saying a lot.

He wants to get in your pants. I asume your young and as a guy who was once young i want you too know that everything we say, do or think is to get in some girls pants. I mean there where girls i was freinds with but i did not smile at them from across the room unless i wanted something. You can tell by wearing something sexy or skimpy and just see if he's checking out the goods. If your under 16 don't listen too me.

It sounds to me that this guy does like you. Go out with him for a cup of coffee or for some pizza and tell him that you just want to be friends with him and take your time into getting into a relationship with him.

He sounds like a very nice, polite guy and you're lucky to have a such good friend! If he does like you, it sounds like he's taking it slow and getting to know you better. Enjoy this time with him, it may develop into something more, but either way, he seems like someone you'd like to keep as a friend.

He sounds like a polite fellow. Ask him to join you for a pizza or something. If you have a get together with friends at your house, invite him. Be friends first. Let time take its course.

He likes you for sure and since he doesn’t have anyone else to look up to, he turns to u. Tell him if he wants to hang around more so he wouldn’t be shy. You might never know that he’s not shy at all.

I think he likes you but he could also just want you as a closer friend than you are now. But I think he likes you.

like you said he is probably shy. this could be his way of telling you he has feelings for you. go with it. you may find yourself liking him. he sounds genuine so stick with it. good luck!
