I get this error "\\Computer name is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource.contact the admin of this server to find out if you have access permission."
The network path was not found
Before the error comes out. when i access a computer through run command i get a grayed out on username
ex: jeff\guest but i can put in a password. but it dont work.

The error means just exactly that. You need to make sure the computer is accessible via a share. Maybe the computer is but not the drives. It is not uncommon for administrators to disable/remove the c$,d$, admin$ shares for security reasons.

If in fact you are the administrator and you know the computer shares are active including any additional shares you may have created you need to make sure your firewall is allowing access to the ports used by windows for sharing ie.. ports 137,138 and 139.
